I use the BPT09B and it works well both at night and in daytime. High power is much noticeable in daytime. Medium power is plenty bright for nighttime. Do not shine it into the air from your home at night, as Batman might be summoned. Coming up from a night dive, high power is powerful enough to signal airplanes.
